As winter temperatures drop, we want to remind everyone of the serious dangers of walking on frozen lakes in our community. While the surface may appear solid, ice thickness can be unpredictable and may not safely support weight. Walking on frozen water poses a significant risk of falling through, which can result in severe injury or worse.
For your safety and the safety of others, please do not walk, skate, or allow children or pets to venture onto any frozen lake in the community. We also encourage you to speak with your family members and guests about these risks.
The association is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all residents. If you observe anyone on the ice or notice unsafe conditions, please notify management immediately.
